Task-based teaching method improves the efficiency of English teaching by defining tasks. However, the traditional English teaching methods often rely too much on textbooks and ignore the links of language practice and application, which leads to limiting the comprehensive development of students’ English ability. The multimedia network technology has brought innovation to the field of education and provided new possibilities to solve this problem. Task teaching method, with its emphasis on practicality and student center characteristics, has gradually become the hot spot of teaching reform. The results show that the multimedia network technology combined with task teaching method is better in terms of teaching and research accuracy, teaching research influencing factors and time.
