This final chapter translates the book’s empirical findings into actionable implications for companies, policymakers, and organizations. Its aim is to introduce a framework that maps sustainable behaviours along two main dimensions: perceived impact and perceived sacrifice entailed in the adoption of high-impact behaviours. This mapping process results in four behavioural profiles that call for different intervention strategies. The chapter argues that effective sustainability policy needs to go beyond awareness campaigns and address choice architecture, infrastructure, affordability, and cultural meaning. Drawing on national and international examples, we outlined a set of practical recommendations to both reduce perceived sacrifice and increase the salience of high-impact behaviours. By framing sustainability as a design problem, the chapter offers a roadmap for fostering scalable, and socially legitimate behavioural change.

摘要
