The Wear Resistance Coatings from Amorpous Material in Aerospace Industry
摘要
The new direction in spraying technology is to create a wear-resistant coating where components are replaced by amorphous materials and the generating gas is ordinary air. Some publications underlined the role of proper input parameters, including plasma gun power, particle size, particle velocity, gas flow rate, gas mixture ratio, and so on. However, the main drawback of this research is the unpredicted simultaneous connection between all essential spraying parameters, which significantly inhibits the bilateral effect of Fe-based powders on tribological performance. This study aimed to reveal the simultaneous impact of the most critical parameters on the quality of an antifriction coating in Fe-based materials. The study’s outcomes were derived from empirical equations, covering all of the primary spraying parameters as well as an evaluation of the tribological properties compared with expensive common materials. To save on experiment costs, the ANOVA technique was used to consider the weight of the inputs.
