To elucidate the sand body configuration and distribution characteristics of He 8 in the central part of the Ordos Basin, based on core and field outcrop data, with well logging interpretation as the main basis, the main sand body configuration characteristics of He 8 were analyzed, and the distribution pattern of sand bodies was identified. The results showed that the sand bodies in He 8 are mainly composed of braided channels and a small amount of mouth bar. The geological background of a large depression lake basin results in wider channel sand bodies in He 8, with significant lateral migration variations. The vertical stacking modes of sand bodies include isolated, superimposed, and cut-stacked types; lateral connectivity includes isolated, butted, and side-cut types. Channel sand bodies exhibit good connectivity in the direction of sediment source, and thick sand bodies are generally multi-phase superimposed. The channel sand bodies generally spread in a south-north or north-northeast direction, with dominant sand bodies controlling the distribution of favorable reservoirs.

摘要
