Privacy-Preserving Biometric Framework for Secure NFT Ownership
摘要
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) have revolutionized digital asset ownership, however, remain vulnerable to counterfeiting, unauthorized transfers, and privacy breaches. We propose a decentralized framework that integrates multimodal biometrics with NFTs through a fuzzy vault cryptosystem deployed on blockchain. This approach uniquely binds the biometric identities of the creator with their digital assets, ensuring secure, transparent, and tamper-proof ownership. Our framework is implemented on the Polygon blockchain, achieving a biometric authentication accuracy of 99.8% and an Equal Error Rate (EER) of 0.08%, while significantly reducing computational and gas costs compared to existing solutions. Security analysis compliant with ISO standards confirms irreversibility, unlinkability, and revocability of biometric templates, preserving user privacy and preventing fraud. This work provides a scalable and privacy-preserving solution to NFT ownership challenges, advancing the secure trade of digital assets in decentralized ecosystems.
