Clean water is a fundamental human need, and its demand must be met daily. Surface water is one such source, however in Indonesia, groundwater is more commonly used for household needs. Although groundwater serves as an alternative, its quality and quantity are limited. RW 15 Sambongjaya Village, located in Tasikmalaya City 360 m above sea level, previously a mountainous area with dense vegetation and large rocks, was converted into a residential settlement. Because of challenging terrain, not all houses have their own groundwater wells, so communal wells are used. Approximately 54% of residents rely on these wells. During the dry season of 2023, 25% of households face clean water shortages, requiring water usage on a rotating basis and disrupting daily activities. To address this, analysis of the pipe energy is required, so the pipe flow direction and clean water requirement must be analyzed too. The water flow direction from the tanks to the houses is Tank 1, which flows water to the south. Tank 2 with pump 1 flowed water to the east. Tank 2 with pump 2 flows water to the West and North. Tank 2 with pump 3 flowed water to the East. The total clean water demand is 3.006 × 10–4 m3/s. The minimum pressure is -0.77 at T2.J3.23; therefore, to increase the pressure, a pump with a 40 × 32B4 – 50,4 capacity is selected.
