Barriers to Green Building Implementation in Asian Countries: A Systematic Literature Review
摘要
Green buildings offer several benefits, including combating global warming, reducing energy consumption, improving occupant health, and increasing the asset value of the building. However, the implementation of green buildings often faces barriers. This study aims to identify the barriers to green building implementation in Asian countries. The research method used was a Systematic Literature Review, utilizing the PRISMA diagram to ensure transparent, systematic, and comprehensive reporting throughout the review process and its findings. After retrieving literature from databases and following the PRISMA process, 18 articles were selected for further analysis in this study. The literature review in this research utilized Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The results of this study categorized the types of barriers into seven groups: financial, time, human, technology, regulatory, management, and other barriers. Each category consists of several specific barriers. The most common barriers encountered in Asian countries, according to the findings, are a lack of financial incentives, inadequate education and knowledge, and a shortage of qualified personnel.
