The slopes of abandoned mine pits usually have the characteristics of steep slopes, well-developed rock mass structural planes, and severe damage to rock mass integrity due to blasting disturbances. Through calculation and research in this paper, the unstable slopes BP4 and BP12 of the quarry pit in the Yufengshan area of Yubei District are in a stable state under natural conditions and basically stable under heavy rain conditions. Under the action of external dynamic factors such as heavy rain, the instability of the slopes may be induced. The research results can provide useful references for the stability assessment, risk control and comprehensive management of similar abandoned mine pit slopes that are widely existing in the mountainous and hilly areas of southwest China.

摘要
