The Internet of Things (IoT) has recently become a commonplace aspect of everyone's daily life due to the rise in the use of smart devices. Since the majority of people in metro areas drive private vehicles more regularly, parking has become a serious problem. The study suggests an IoT-based smart parking system in light of the most recent technological advancements and the expanding acceptance of the idea of smart cities. The objective of this research is to identify the available space, efficiently control traffic, and fully utilize resources. The smart parking system has been improved in recent years, and research is ongoing to develop a system that is both technologically sophisticated and easy to use. The proposed model helps users to locate parking spaces and order a parking space with the help of an Android and a web application. The suggested strategy makes it easier for those driving their own cars to locate parking spots in designated areas.
