What characteristics do you associate with Liechtenstein? This question was posed to its residents in June 2024 as part of the Lie-Barometer survey. The most frequently cited characteristic was safety, followed by home and prosperity. When asked specifically about their assessment of the current situation, 43% of respondents rated safety in Liechtenstein as “very good” and 47% as “fairly good”. Only 5% considered safety in Liechtenstein to be “rather poor” or “very poor”. There is no doubt that the population feels safe in Liechtenstein. According to the traffic light system of threat perception, Liechtenstein is positioned between ‘green’ and ‘yellow’.
