Romania’s Security Is Inextricably Linked with the Transatlantic Relationship

Starting from reshaping transatlantic relations and considering the current debate on creating an EUSD, Romania is analysing ways of enhancing its European posture while dealing with economic issues and hybrid warfare challenges. In this context, the Russian Federation can be considered at least a medium (‘yellow’) threat to the country’s security and sovereignty. Hence, there is a need to open new paths of cooperation with the U.S. administration to retain its military commitments in Europe.
