Upper Limb Disorders in Musicians
摘要
Musicians represent a large population worldwide, and the prevalence of their musculoskeletal disorders is very high. The causes seem to be related to the high demands that their intensive training and performance require. The impact of these disorders on professional musicians influence physical, psychological, social, and economic aspects of daily life. The upper limb, neck, and back are the most affected districts. The purpose of this chapter is to frame upper-limb pathologies and their therapeutic approach, as they are too often underestimated, despite their impact on the lives of these subjects.
