Principles of Work Derived from World Patent Databases to Support of Development of Innovative Projects and Software Development
摘要
The extensive world patent databases were carefully studied and classified according to (1) physical, chemical, and geometrical effects, (2) level of invention, (3) cost-reduction with simultaneous enhancement in functional performance over its contemporaries or prior inventions in identical or nearby domains, (4) commercialization. Analysis shows that the entire spectrum of innovative activity (as measured by this classification of patent banks & open-source inventions) follows some Principles of Work. Thus, an enumeration of these Principles of Work via select case studies is key to understanding technological evolution. The important but subtle interconnections with VE are also revealed. In closing, new directions of Software Development are presented.
