Based on an extensive review of the literature, and research in club hotels on the islands of Corfu and in Crete, this paper attempts to reflect how culture diversities of tourists in club hotels in the Mediterranean can become a burden to hotel animation staff and to support future lines of inquiry. For this purpose, the subject of study is organized and classified and aligned with three primary themes: Tourists’ nationalities in these islands, culture diversities and problems arouse to hotel animation staff. It has been noticed that in the era of political correctness, the sense of humour is targeted through a more careful non-offensive lens. Hotel animation staff are familiar with diversities through nationalities and cultural borders. Not only different language barrier but also religion, traditional rules and ethics can create problems that would need special attention to deal with. Specifically in the Mediterranean tourists’ nationalities have altered through the years. Changes need to be studied and monitored in order to obtain knowledge and experience.
