Cross Case Study Analysis and Conclusion
摘要
This chapter synthesizes findings from the seven case studies, identifying shared teachings, practices, and frameworks across eco-Buddhist groups in Germany. It shows how core Buddhist concepts—interbeing, suffering, impermanence, and the Bodhisattva path—inform ecological consciousness and motivate environmentally responsible actions. Through performative practices such as meditation, nature immersion, and ritualized ecological activities, practitioners cultivate embodied ecological ethics. The chapter further analyzes engagement strategies, organizational dynamics, and epistemic border-crossing as Buddhist groups integrate scientific knowledge with spiritual insight. It discusses emerging potentials for future eco-Buddhist development, including strengthened networks, broader public visibility, and deeper collective transformation. The chapter concludes that eco-Buddhism in Germany represents an evolving field that fuses tradition, activism, and innovative ecological spirituality.
