What Can Be Done?
摘要
The hypothesis of a transition from one civilization, the techno-industrial civilization, to another, yet to be invented, leads to a formidable question: what should be done? The author develops two courses of action: first, to strive to escape the prevailing mindset; second, to replace the ever-increasing production of new artifacts with care. And thus, to prioritize care for the planet, for life on Earth, for humanity, for diverse human communities in all their diversity, and, above all, for oneself, over discourse that prioritizes the economy above all else.
