This paper has two goals. The first is to introduce the characteristics of processes we are discussing here: They are changing, rely on experience or upcoming knowledge and are not based on routine but on creative decisions. We find them for example in conceptual design, in knowledge acquisition, and in development of creative solutions. In those processes we also have unusual connections between subprocesses, such as the development of a tool, which is directly used in the process. We introduce a notation for these subprocess connections, and we give examples, which show that complicated situations ca be handled.

摘要

This paper has two goals. The first is to introduce the characteristics of processes we are discussing here: They are changing, rely on experience or upcoming knowledge and are not based on routine but on creative decisions. We find them for example in conceptual design, in knowledge acquisition, and in development of creative solutions. In those processes we also have unusual connections between subprocesses, such as the development of a tool, which is directly used in the process. We introduce a notation for these subprocess connections, and we give examples, which show that complicated situations ca be handled.
