Nowadays, the effects of human beings on climate change are believed to be a major environmental challenge. Promoting public involvement in climate change policy solutions is a normal practice. This research paper explores the landscape of public engagement and climate change nexus. In this context, a bibliometric analysis is conducted. First, the relevant literature was discussed, and then the application phase started. The studies were searched, and data were collected from Web of Science (WoS) from 2014-2024, with the topic “The Public Engagement and Climate Change.” 2254 related articles were seen on WoS. From these articles, the category “economics” was selected, and 73 scientific studies were analysed to explore years, Web of Science index, research areas, document types, and languages. In the other step, these 73 studies are categorized according to core economical studies into 26. A literature table was designed to show all the details of the studies according to their author, publication years, countries, methods, and conclusions. Additionally, this methodology is supported by word cloud analysis, which is a thematic cluster around four key terms: “Public Engagement,” “Climate Change,” “Climate Adaptation,” and “Economics.” Using a bibliometric approach, it aims to analyse the evolution of climate change and public engagement. This paper shows a detailed literature study of the relation between climate change and public engagement. It aims to highlight the climate change and public engagement nexus by collecting and analysing articles published over the past decade. The purpose of this work is to give an overview of the literature by wrapping the most related studies from WoS.
