Human trafficking and terrorism are two issues that the world is currently dealing with, and their effects severely restrict human advancement. Preventing and intervening in these crimes is extremely difficult because of the technical advancements used in their planning and execution. The chapter outlines the prevention and intervention tactics used to combat terrorism and human trafficking. It incorporates elements from a wide range of disciplines, including technology, forensic sciences, the army, and law enforcement. Preventing human trafficking mainly involves reducing risk factors at individual, family, and societal levels, along with implementing solutions such as enhancing personal skills, community education, healthcare provider training, support networks, organisational change, and influencing policy. Addressing terrorism and counter-terrorism presents significant challenges at both national and international levels due to their complexities. The limitations and scope of prevention and intervention strategies were explored. More research on the efficacy of interventions in the area of terrorism and human trafficking is needed.
