The outbreak of war in Europe led to unprecedented media adaptation. Before and after the now historic date of 24 February 2022, the media discourse and attitudes of the European countries analysed in this book underwent rapid and hasty changes. All mediums were affected: social networks (Twitter analysed here, online versions of the media, print versions). From the creation of sections or hashtags to the mobilisation of European issues and even the naming of the “war” itself, the European media gradually devoted themselves to this historic event. This chapter discusses the issues related to the possibilities offered by media devices and transmediality to shed light on the construction of a media discourse on war.

摘要
