This chapter offers a theoretical and conceptual overview of the field while developing a preliminary account of the current state of philosophy teaching and didactics as a key domain of global philosophical practice. Our aim is to chart the main didactic, pedagogical, and philosophical challenges involved in teaching philosophy across different stages of human development and to highlight its presence within diverse philosophical contexts on all five continents. Drawing on conceptual and regional perspectives presented here, the chapter illustrates the growing integration of philosophical practice into educational institutions—a development grounded in the recognition that the teaching and didactics of philosophy constitute essential conditions for the philosophical event itself.

摘要
