This article discusses transnational group learning in the project “Intercultural Perspectives on Information Literacy and Metaliteracy” (IPILM). The focus of the course in 2024–2025 was on cultural, societal, educational and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence (AI). The question arises to what extent such a learning environment is feasible and worthwhile. As IPILM has a low participation threshold, experiences made in the project may be worthwhile for other initiatives in the information literacy community, that aim to build up learning environments that include learners from different cultures. For the present study, student assessments are captured. Evaluations from instructors contribute further insights.

摘要
