At first glance, George Spencer-Brown’s “Laws of Form” (LoF) (Spencer-Brown 1969) and the process of cell consciousness don’t appear to have anything in common other than superficially needing to be conscious of the Laws of Form in order to understand them. However, it is postulated that both are holisms, and that therefore there must ultimately, by definition, be commonalities between them. This relationship is similar to the one depicted in “Einstein, Picasso” (Miller 2002), in which ‘Cubism’ forms the bridge between the two, Braque seeing the geometry of landscapes representing energy flows that are calculatable as Einstein’s E = MC2 (Einstein 1905).

摘要
