The Fast Relaxed Vector Fitting (FRVF) has recently been extended from Electrical to Civil and Mechanical Engineering applications, more specifically, vibration-based System Identification and damage detection. Here, the conceptual and practical aspects of this recently proposed tool are briefly examined and discussed. The motivations supporting its application over more conventional alternatives, such as the Pole-Zero and the Rational Fraction Polynomial form, are presented.

摘要

The Fast Relaxed Vector Fitting (FRVF) has recently been extended from Electrical to Civil and Mechanical Engineering applications, more specifically, vibration-based System Identification and damage detection. Here, the conceptual and practical aspects of this recently proposed tool are briefly examined and discussed. The motivations supporting its application over more conventional alternatives, such as the Pole-Zero and the Rational Fraction Polynomial form, are presented.
