In this final chapter, we develop our main arguments in the book and position our contribution in relation to previous studies and conceptualizations. We argue that engaged, longitudinal research and its methodological approach are beneficial for capturing how structural aspects of urban struggles are reflected on the micro level, revealing tactics and ways of organizing not evident to outsiders and focusing more on practices than narratives, as these do not always match. Inspired by the dramaturgical perspective on collective action, we call for a new research agenda when studying urban movements that is conceptually inclusive and methodologically sensitive, recognizing the role of participatory methods for a fuller understanding of collective action.

摘要
