Data hiding is the science and art of securing multimedia files such as audio, text, video, etc., which cannot be predicted by human eyes. However, because a text file lacks redundant data, using text as a cover medium is much more challenging than using other available multimedia files. In order to avoid detection and ensure secret communication, text steganography is essential for discretely conveying information by enclosing it in harmless language. Situations requiring privacy, security through obscurity, and evading censorship without drawing suspicion give rise to this exigency. In this paper, a data hiding method is proposed to secure and authenticate by hiding English secret text within a large Bengali text. The Bengali transliteration and reflexive nature of English alphabets are used to hide the secret information. This data hiding approach is lossless, i.e., it can extract 100% of concealed secret information. With the cover text selected from various sources, like Bengali novels, daily newspapers, and stories, our suggested approach shows satisfactory experimental outcomes.
