This paper aims to describe French simple declarative sentences by constructing a set of formalized linguistic resources in the form of electronic dictionaries and local syntactic grammars. The sentence grammar describes sentences with structures N0 V, N0 V (à|de|ε) N1 and N0 V (à|de|ε) N1 (à|de|ε) N2. It consists of local grammars that describe predeterminers and determiners, simple noun phrases, and sentences. We tested these resources by applying them to the text La femme de trente ans [Balzac, 1881], provided as the default corpus in the NooJ software.

摘要

This paper aims to describe French simple declarative sentences by constructing a set of formalized linguistic resources in the form of electronic dictionaries and local syntactic grammars. The sentence grammar describes sentences with structures N0 V, N0 V (à|de|ε) N1 and N0 V (à|de|ε) N1 (à|de|ε) N2. It consists of local grammars that describe predeterminers and determiners, simple noun phrases, and sentences. We tested these resources by applying them to the text La femme de trente ans [Balzac, 1881], provided as the default corpus in the NooJ software.
