The objective of this study is to research aspects related to advanced robotics, which is developing spectacularly with the help of artificial intelligence, but also the main applications used by the most advanced companies in the industrial field. The methodology of the study investigates aspects related to advanced robotics and how it contributes to the digital and ecological transition. The results of the study address aspects related to the defining aspects of advanced robotics, how its future development is estimated, the footprint of intelligent automation in advanced robotics, the differences between intelligent and conventional robots, the main industrial and security applications of industrial robots, the advantages, and disadvantages of using robots industrially. It is evidenced devices that fall into this category: cobots, exoskeletons, automated guided vehicles, and drones. In the case of automated guided vehicles, motion feedback functions, lift control, drive motor feedback as well as their industrial applications are shown. Then the drones and the main categories that exist are presented: multi-rotor drones, single-rotor drones, fixed-wing drones, fixed-wing hybrid vertical take-off and landing drones. The conclusion reveals that advanced robotics is developing spectacularly within Industry 5.0 with the support of artificial intelligence. This provides numerous applications that are used by the most advanced companies in the industrial field.
