This chapter focuses on so-called horror rap, Insane Clown Posse (ICP) and related acts such as Twiztid in particular. In addition, other masked rappers such as MF Doom and Swedish rapper Gambino will be highlighted. The emphasis is on the transformation, imagery and meaning of makeup and masks among these artists. Moreover, some attention is also paid to how a particular masked makeup style has a symbolic function for the ICP fans and sub-culture, the Juggalos and Juggalettes.
