Learning is not limited to any age or formal school setting. Consequently, the creation of passion for learning throughout lifetime has been a key goal for any educational endeavor including science education. Keeping in mind that, twenty-first century regards all societies as knowledge-driven societies. Indeed, lifelong learning is an all-purposeful learning activity, undertaken on a continuing basis to improve knowledge, skills, and competence. Science education programs have provided opportunities and essential skills to individual learners to become lifelong learners. In this chapter, we will discuss in detail the contribution of science education to lifelong learning skills.
