The growing volume of end-of-life tires (ELTs) poses a significant environmental challenge due to their complex material composition and resistance to degradation. Traditional disposal methods—such as landfilling and incineration—are increasingly unsustainable, prompting the need for innovative waste management strategies. This paper investigates how digitalization and smart technologies, including IoT-enabled tracking, AI-based material sorting, and blockchain for supply chain transparency, can enhance the sustainability of tire waste management. Through a case study approach, the paper analyzes real-world applications and emerging trends to demonstrate how these technologies improve traceability, optimize recycling processes, and support circular economy principles. The findings suggest that integrating digital tools into tire management systems reduces environmental impact and enables data-driven decision-making and regulatory compliance. This research highlights the potential of Industry 4.0 innovations to transform waste tire management into a more sustainable and resource-efficient practice.

摘要
