The Logistics Performance Index has been developed by the World Bank’s Logistics Performance Task Force since 2007. The Logistics Performance Index has been used to help countries’ transport policymakers better understand their strengths and weaknesses in the sector. However, the widespread use of Big Data and digitalization in the transport sector, as well as shortcomings in the survey-based assessment methodology, has led to the introduction of a new methodology for assessing logistics performance. The new methodology is based on big data and digitalization, which ensures the accuracy of the data, but at the same time, it poses a number of difficulties in assessing logistics performance, since the transport systems of developing countries are not sufficiently digitalized. Therefore, it is recommended to compare supply chain tracking data in the case of Uzbekistan with data from neighboring countries to assess logistics efficiency and improve transport reforms and policies in this direction.

摘要
