This research focuses on green skills and sustainable education. It examined projects—Germany's Eco-Schools Program, Finland's Nature-Based Education Model and Indonesia's Green School Bali. It is thought that the use of green skills in education can help students find solutions to global problems. It has provided students with important competencies such as understanding sustainable technologies, environmental awareness and climate change. The projects examined in this research adopt renewable energy use, sustainable agricultural practices and nature-integrated learning approaches. Case study method was used as the research method. In these case studies, detailed data on the impact of school curricula, teaching methods and green skills programs in Germany, Finland and Indonesia were collected from the literature. This research is in line with Goal 4.7 and Goal 13.3 of the sustainable development goals. According to the findings of the study, green skills programs increased environmental awareness and had a positive impact on students’ problem solving, critical thinking and collaboration skills. In this context, it can be recommended that sustainable education policies should be implemented more comprehensively and integrated into the education programs of countries.

Green Skills and Sustainable Education: Preparing for the Future
