This study aims to identify the organizational capabilities essential to foster data truthfulness in business environments, responding to the growing risks of data deception and falsification. Using a qualitative approach, interviews with 15 managers from data-driven organizations were analyzed through thematic analysis. The findings identify eight key capabilities grouped into three core areas: human resources, IT systems, and corporate governance. A capability model is proposed to guide strategic formulation and investment in data integrity efforts. This study contributes to understanding enablers of trustworthy data and offers a foundation for future research on capability prioritization across business contexts.
