Green Finance and Decarbonization: A Bibliometric Analysis with a Latin American Perspective
摘要
The purpose of this research is to analyse the relationship between green finance and decarbonization with a bibliometric approach under a global context and highlight the participation of Latin America. The bibliometric study was analysed with data received from the Scopus platform, which was analysed to obtain node maps in VOSviewer. From the Scopus analysis, 483 documents were extracted in which green finance and decarbonization are related. Excel was used to create the tables shown in this paper, analysing the data in stages (planning, implementation, and dissemination of results). Among the main observations, 52.9% of the studies carried out in relation to green finance and decarbonization were conducted in the fields of environmental sciences, economics, finance, and energy and fuels. Additionally, there was an 85.5% increase in the number of publications relating to these constructs in the last two decades. Finally, the countries with the most studies were China, the United Kingdom, India, and Germany. To finish with, the low participation of emerging economies such as Latin America in the development of research on the transition to clean energy is noticeable.
