Writing in Therapy
摘要
This chapter will begin with a review of writing in therapy and an evaluation of the existing literature on the topic. Following these topics for discussion will include: reflexive journal writing, therapeutic writing, experiential writing, writing for clients who have experienced trauma, the unsent letter, and writing to a part/configuration of self (i.e. the Inner-Child/the Abandoned Self), and poetry and free writing as a supplement to therapeutic artwork. The case studies will demonstrate how this intervention is used in therapy with a range of client issues, both face-to-face and online.
