Islamophobia and Anti-Semitism: Understanding the Roots and Exploring Solutions
摘要
Islamophobia and anti-Semitism are two forms of religious and cultural bigotry that have plagued Western societies for centuries. While they target different communities, Muslims and Jews, respectively, they share commonalities in their origins, manifestations, and impacts. Both forms of prejudice are rooted in fear, ignorance, and historical stereotypes, and both have been exacerbated by political, social, and economic factors. This chapter explores the historical and contemporary contexts of Islamophobia and anti-Semitism, examines their shared characteristics, and proposes common remedies to combat these forms of hatred.
