This final chapter presents the book’s concluding remarks. It specifically discusses policy changes following Grube’s [Why governments get it wrong – and how they can get it right. Palgrave Macmillan (2022)] model, which relates to problem definition, setting the policy narrative, data and evidence on the problem, and policy intervention. This model is used to reflect on the findings of the chapters on the selected countries and to discuss key elements for child poverty and the institutions that govern those elements. The chapter also considers future policies, and marks the current polycrisis environment as a contextual factor that is shaping the experiences of children and youth as well as life in general.
