Introduction
摘要
Child poverty continues to exist in wealthy countries. This book closely examines child poverty and policies impacting child poverty in four countries: Finland, Sweden, Australia, and Aotearoa New Zealand. The selection of countries shows that even when countries have adopted welfare state institutions, when they have different policies to combat child poverty, and when the prevalence of child poverty differs, countries can face similar issues in tackling child poverty. The introduction chapter discusses the wickedness of child poverty and some key concepts of the book and presents the aim and general outlook of the book.
