With the increasing complexity of industrial processes and growing pressure for greater efficiency, Business Intelligence (BI) solutions have emerged as a strategic pillar to standardize operations and improve information management. This paper, based on a project carried out in an industrial company in the cork composite sector, demonstrates how the integration of digital tools developed within a low-code platform (e.g., Power BI and Power Apps), Lean principles, and Industry 4.0 concepts can drive operational and maintenance performance in the sector. The case study focuses on a recent and complex production line, characterized by the absence of historical data and a high frequency of breakdowns. The implementation of a digital tool for information centralization revealed potential to reduce downtime, improve traceability, and increase overall efficiency. Preliminary results show positive acceptance, reinforcing the importance of Business Intelligence as a driver of informed decision-making and the creation of collaborative and sustainable environments.
