This article considers the problem of introducing the concepts of deep tech innovation and entrepreneurship into a higher education curriculum. We present a high-level framework for improving higher education curricula with the goal of supporting students’ entrepreneurship and deep tech innovation. We argue that the implementation of the framework can be achieved through changes in course structure and contents, but requires changes in culture, cross-course collaboration, supporting structures and services, and strong industry support. As a proof of concept, we present an approach to transforming the master’s study program in E-business at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences.

摘要

This article considers the problem of introducing the concepts of deep tech innovation and entrepreneurship into a higher education curriculum. We present a high-level framework for improving higher education curricula with the goal of supporting students’ entrepreneurship and deep tech innovation. We argue that the implementation of the framework can be achieved through changes in course structure and contents, but requires changes in culture, cross-course collaboration, supporting structures and services, and strong industry support. As a proof of concept, we present an approach to transforming the master’s study program in E-business at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences.
