Corporeal Directionality
摘要
This chapter explores kinaesthetic intentionality and directionality in human movement, analysing the role of sensory modalities and bodily configurations along the x, y and z axes. Drawing on phenomenological and (paleo)anthropological perspectives, it examines how gravity defines the z-axis and influences balance, posture and bipedal locomotion. The study also considers the impact of evolutionary processes, such as the role of danceDance and rhythmic movement in refining kinaesthetic control. The mobility of the ego within the kinaesthetic system is discussed, particularly in relation to morphokinesis and embodied interactions in danceDance and music. Asymmetries in bodily directionality and their implications for perception, movement and ergonomics are also explored. By integrating phenomenological insights with empirical research, this study provides a deeper understanding of how kinaesthetic orientation structures human experience and interaction with the environment.
