Implicit Memory and Kinaesthesis
摘要
The study of kinaesthetic memory introduces a number of useful distinctions. This section on kinaesthetic memory develops the classification of bodily memory adopted by Thomas Fuchs (Body memory, metaphor and movement, John Benjamins, 2012). Following Bergson, the analysis of the waltzDancewaltz as a kinaesthetic series helps to introduce the concept of kinaesthetic emanative memory. In addition, concepts such as situational, intercorporeal and incorporated bodily memory are clarified, again mainly using examples from danceDance.
