Despite the high potential of Generative AI (GenAI) for increasing the productivity of knowledge work, the business value derived from GenAI remains limited. Reusable building blocks and guidelines for GenAI solution development and implementation may help companies. Various artefacts provide such reuse and guidance, including GenAI playbooks and guides, frameworks and platforms with reusable building blocks for GenAI systems, reference architectures and design patterns for GenAI solutions, and GenAI adoption frameworks. Existing reuse and guidance frameworks and tools for GenAI development and implementation have certain limitations. We suggest a knowledge management (KM) perspective for scoping and structuring GenAI development and implementation activities. This perspective applies knowledge processes such as knowledge capture, synthesis, access for organizing GenAI solution building blocks, fostering reuse and guiding development and implementation. The paper suggests a preliminary vision of the toolkit, which combines reusable and guiding artefacts to develop and implement GenAI solutions for leveraging organizational knowledge assets and processes.

摘要
