Designing applications to amplify human intelligence is non-trivial. Although relevant design knowledge exists, a comprehensive design approach for practitioners is lacking. This short paper presents a novel design method for intelligence amplification for practitioners. Action design research has been utilized to iteratively design, implement, and evaluate its use within 27 organizations. The design method effectively supports the design and development of intelligence amplification prototypes and provides guidance for implementation.
