Binary System of Actuation to Puff Out Odoriferous Substance
摘要
This paper focuses on a binary actuation system which has been developed through reverse engineering process to dispense odoriferous substances, producing a noticeable odor upon release. The system is classified as binary because it performs operation in a release & no release mode. This functionality is managed through a dedicated software application, which connects to the actuation hardware using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules, enabling seamless wireless communication. The integration of hardware and software is crucial to the system's performance. The software application serves as the command center, sending signals to the hardware to initiate the release of the odoriferous substance. The use of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi allows for flexible and remote-control operations, making the system versatile and easy to operate from various locations. The actuator works with a response time of 2 s, and the aerosols being discharged have a maximum diameter of 2 mm.
