In this chapter, the Monte Carlo method was used to model the propagation of polarized light in scattering media with time resolution. The simulation results are compared with experimental data. It is shown that time-resolved Monte Carlo modelling is a useful tool for understanding the basic physical processes of polarized light propagation in tissues.

摘要

In this chapter, the Monte Carlo method was used to model the propagation of polarized light in scattering media with time resolution. The simulation results are compared with experimental data. It is shown that time-resolved Monte Carlo modelling is a useful tool for understanding the basic physical processes of polarized light propagation in tissues.
