A Design of Balanced Adaptive Preselector for Receiving Path T/R Module VHF Digital AESA
摘要
Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars incorporate multiple Transmit Receive Modules (TRMs) in their RF front end. AESA is the forefront of advanced radar technology, dominating various radar applications across avionics, space, naval, and terrestrial domains. The preselector (PR) in the receiving path carries out initial frequency filtering of the desired signal amidst interference and suppression of side reception channels, thereby playing a vital role in maintaining the noise immunity of the receiving channel as a subsystem. This paper presents the results of developing a balanced adaptive high-linear electronically tunable preselector of the receiving path of the VHF digital AESA Tx/Rx module. It is shown that the structure allows discrete switching of the preselector gain by changing the feedback depth with a proportional change in overload capacity, linearity and maintaining a low noise figure and low input/output VSWR. The results show promise and practical.
