Study on the Fabrication of Two-Dimensional WO₃ Materials via Sonication-Assisted Liquid-Phase Exfoliation for Removal of Methylene Blue in Water
摘要
This study reports the synthesis of two-dimensional WO₃ materials from commercial WO₃ powder via ultrasonic vibration and their application in the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue. The materials were characterized using XRD, FE-SEM, and UV–vis DRS. After 3 h of sonication, the WO₃ particles transformed from micrometer-sized flakes to nanosheets. The photocatalytic activity of the WO₃ nanomaterials was evaluated by the degradation of methylene blue solution under xenon lamp irradiation.
