The global shift to digital technologies, driven by artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, and workplace automation, has changed the nature of work. These innovations have improved efficiency but also caused job losses in several sectors. The COVID-19 pandemic sped up this transition and led to a rapid increase in remote work. While advanced economies managed this shift well due to their solid digital infrastructure and skill-building programs, developing countries faced major challenges, including poor connectivity, unstable infrastructure, and significant skill gaps in digital areas. This study uses surveys and interviews to look at how digital transformation impacts labor markets in developing regions. It aims to identify strategies and policy solutions to tackle both the opportunities and inequalities created by technological changes.
